Part of the energy revolution with our installation service

#SGSprojectinsights

In the "Siberia of Bavaria" - the idyllic Wunsiedel - a milestone project in the field of energy transition is being created. SGS Industrial Services is responsible for assembling the Silyzer 300 developed by Siemens Energy.

By means of electrolysis, i.e. the splitting of water into hydrogen and oxygen by electricity, which is to be carried out exclusively by renewable energy sources, CO2-neutral, "green hydrogen" is generated. The project by Siemens and Stadtwerke Wunsiedel plays a unique pioneering role, and the interest in this project is correspondingly high - both at home and abroad.

ZDF reported on this pilot project in its morning magazine on February 10, 2022: to the video

The task of the #SGSTeam is the mechanical and electrical assembly. The SGS team has been on site since November 2021 and is responsible, among other things, for the piping for hydrogen and oxygen.

As SGS Industrial Services we are proud to be part of this milestone project for the production of green hydrogen.
